How To Clear Your Cache

It is always good practice to occasionally clear your cookies and browser cache for various reasons. One of which being it lowers the change of bumping into an issue when using NuOp but also in general speeds up your browser. In this short article you will learn how to clean up your cache if you run into problems when using NuOp. 

We recommend you switch to Chrome or Safari for the purpose of this tutorial.

1. To start, right click anywhere on your screen. Once you do so a side bar should appear. 

2. Don't get bogged down on all the HTML and code you see, instead navigate to  the tab that says "Application". If you do not see it that is because the window is to small. In this case you should see two small arrows, click that, then select "Application'. 

3. Once selecting "Application" you will see a new screen. This is where your cache and other storage is held. Once here make your way to the 'Storage' label and when clicking it you will see new options appear. Find the button labeled 'Clear site data'. Once you do this everything will be cleared automatically and your page will refresh on its own.   

Don't worry about losing anything, once the page refreshes all the important information the site needs in order to function will be restored here.

4. Finally once this is done either refresh the page by clicking the refresh icon on the top left of your browser, or even quicker, press CTR+R. 

And that is all you need to do in order to clear your cache. This should lower the chance of bumping into errors or other issues and just overall make your experience faster.  It is a good habit to do this every few days to keep your cache clean on your most used sites.

Note: You will have to log back in to any service in which you clear your cache on.
