Do I need to enter client contact information when submitting a referral?
No, you do not need to enter client contact information when submitting a referral. That said before you make the decision to withhold that information from the referral input form you should know the following:
- If you are a Member whose profession type is "Real Estate Sales", and you are exchanging a referral with another "Real Estate Sales" Member you must include the client contact information in order for NuOp to produce a legally binding referral agreement.
- If the client contact information is entered NuOp automatically provides the information to the Receiving Party after they have accepted the referral agreement terms. If you do not enter the contact information you will need to do this manually.
- If you do choose to enter your client's contact information that information is never revealed to any other Member of the community until the referral exchange process is complete and the referral has been assigned, by you, to the Member of your choosing. Only then is the client information revealed to the Member who you chose for your referral.
