Claiming an Open Opportunity
An Open Opportunity is an opportunity exchange method that a NuOp member can use when they do not know who to send their opportunity (referral) to. In other words, if a NuOp Member has a client referral and needs help to find the right candidate for their opportunity, the open opportunity method is used. Open Opportunities, without chosen candidates, are labeled as "Available" in the Opportunity Feed. Instructions on How to Claim an open opportunity
Sign-in
In the opportunity feed, you can click on any opportunity that is in the "available" status.
Make sure it is the right fit for you, then click claim.
Now you are a candidate for the opportunity and then it will be up to the creator to decide who is the best member.

Claiming an Opportunity through a Link
Sometimes you claim an opportunity through a link like this one:
https://open.nuop.com/J6OGTS. If you are already a member of NuOp and are signed in, the link you received should bring you directly to the opportunity to officially claim it. You can also copy and paste the link into your browser.- If you are not a member yet, you will first have create an account first in order to claim it.

All Members are encouraged to enable push notifications from the NuOp mobile app from their mobile device because any open opportunity which occurs in their marketplace, for their profession, automatically creates a push notification to the respective mobile app. It's important to enable push notifications from NuOp to receive the most up-to-date opportunities available. You can also upgrade your membership to receive priority in claiming open opportunities.
Not a member of NuOp yet?
You will be able to see the Opportunity feed on NuOp’s home page. If you are not a member of NuOp yet, then you will need to manually enter in the opportunity code once you sign up. Then, you can follow the instructions below.
